Karl Lagerfeld set the latest Chanel Collection in a magical forest, the models strutted down the runway which was lined with tall trees with fallen autumn leaves. The Orange and brown toned leaves really made the scenery breathtaking. Karl Lagerfeld made you believe it was a beautiful autumn’s day in a picturesque Parisian park watching the most elegantly dressed ladies walking by. Totally mesmerising……

The models make-up look was very natural, subtle gold eyeshadow, light pinky peach gloss lipstick and a defined brow. The models hair was styled in tousled loose top knot. We predict the top knot will be coming back big next season.

The Fall/Winter 2018 Collection was a nature inspired through out the collection there were leaf prints, floral accessories and antique gold boots. The Models were wearing Victorian-esque neck tops, Seventies Style pussy bow shirts with ballon sleeves and dresses, tuxedo style dresses and double breasted blazers.
Karl Lagerfeld had many variations of leaf prints in his collection.
Nature prints and tweed will be a big trend for Autumn/Winter, this in no surprise for Chanel or the season, but why stray from something that works so well. Chanel is Chanel, and Karl gave Chanel fans what the really want, something classic, elegant and fun. The runway bags collection was exciting, foldover bags and oversized clutches featured as part of the runway selection of bags chosen.

Our style team at luxury Promise think this will be a trend to catch on to, last winters trend was the Balenciaga silver boots and now gold. This will be one of the sell out pieces of this collection.
Pictured is the most stand out runway piece of the collection, the Chanel puffer Jacket.
Karl Lagerfeld embraced the current puffer jacket trend, the runway featured Chanel’s take on the trendy puffer jacket, tweed edged white and black nylon jackets with the classic CC Buttons. We predict the Chanel puffer jacket will be the trendiest fall/winter item to own.
